End of the project party – September 2011

To celebrate the end of the Ecominds funding, we held a gardening session with service users from Syrian House and other care homes, followed by a buffet in the dining room.

         
     
       
     
         


Cooking with Cracking Good Food – August 2011

An outdoors cooking workshop was run by Cracking Good Food. Residents and volunteers prepared some “healthy noodles” using vegetables from our own plot, which we then ejoyed altogether. Garden Party – July 2011

We received a visit from our funders, Ecominds, who were very pleased with our garden and vegetables. Art volunteer Leon led a workshop to create lanterns out of reused glass jars and we enjoyed a BBQ outside in the garden.

         
     
         
     
         


Days out – 2011

As part of the art sessions, we visited different parks and gardens to get ideas of pieces of art to develop for our garden. We visited a garden centre in March, Tatton Park in June and Dunham Massey in September.

         
     
         
     
         


Launch Event - December 2010
